Purpose of the Individualist Haven
The Importantance of the Individualist Cause
by Alex Merced (AlexMerced.com)
The greatest movements foward in thought, technology, and in everything have been the result of creativity and innovation which can only from cultivating the virtue of individualism. By cultivating a society of individuals with the freedom and incentives to feed curiousity to create new ideas we will continue to move in leaps in bounds.
Although, more and more going in the opposite direction and cultivating individuals into society (known as collectivism) which has kept the masses in boxes of thought defined by culture and the desire for ever more power by those in power. Global Corporations have corrupted governments around the world to shape the conversation of policy to benefit their grabs for power (known as corporatism). Governments have decided to comply and have made their own grabs of power to have more to offer their corporate constituents.
This Corporatism, a system of corporate and political corruptions has been confused for capitalism. Capitalism which is a system free of corporate benefits due to lack of government granted benefits and monopolies has been blamed for sins of corporatism giving way for the corporations and governments to push for more collectivism and centralization of power to them.
I hope to fight this battle the only way it can be fought, through education. No office or one man can change the world through policy, but each of us can educate and enlighten. When we do this, the enlightened masses, will bring the enlightened into power to dismantle the corporatist system that has plagued our world of individuals.
While I believe in view of individualism championed by the liked of Edward G. Griffin, Ron Paul, Ludwig Von Mises, and more it doesn't mean people from other paths of though can't see the virtue of individuality. Whether your a liberal or conservatire, democrat, republican, or libertarian you can help further the agenda of individuality here at the individualist haven.
Here we can help define individuality, and have the debates that truly effect humanity.
What is individuality?
How does the government and Legal Institutions affect individuality?
Is too much individualism possible?
The answers I propose arn't neccessarily the correct path, but it might. It's with this though I invite intellectuals of all walks to join me here and have this debate and pursue the virtue of individuality.
